The review

Twenty-two dollars. Twenty hours of battery — eight more than anything else in this group. IP67, it floats, it comes with a removable strap, and Anker warrants it for two years, double what JBL and Bose give. It is also the best-scored speaker of the five at 4.7 from 13,259 ratings.

And it is the only listing on this entire site that says the word «biking». Anker's third bullet: «whether you're showering, camping, hiking, or biking». Everyone else sells the pool and the beach and leaves you to work out whether it will survive a handlebar.

Its specifications also agree with each other, which after the JBLs above deserves saying out loud. Five watts in the bullet, five watts in the table. Twenty hours in the title, twenty in the table. A 45 mm driver and a «Speaker Size» of 1.75, which is that same 45 mm in inches. The only nonsense is «1 C batteries required (included)» on a sealed lithium pack, and a frequency response given as a single number.

What you give up is sound. Five watts is five watts, and against wind and traffic it will not be enough — though since nobody publishes a decibel figure, that goes for every speaker here. If you want volume on a bike, buy the Clip 5 and accept that its page is fiction. If you want the sensible one, this is it.

The good

  • $21.99, the cheapest speaker on this site
  • 20 hours — eight more than anything else in this group
  • IP67 and it floats
  • Two-year warranty, double JBL's and Bose's
  • A removable strap plus a built-in loop
  • 4.7 from 13,259 ratings, the best score of the five
  • The numbers on the listing agree with each other

The not so good

  • 5 watts: the least powerful speaker on the site
  • 200 ms of latency — fine for music, poor for video
  • «1 C batteries required (included)» on a sealed lithium pack
  • «Speaker Size: 1.75» with no unit
  • No aux input, and the microphone is not stated
  • No maximum volume in decibels, like everything else here

Other specs

The only listing here that names cycling«The lightweight design and included strap make this mini speaker portable enough to carry anywhere, whether you're showering, camping, hiking, or biking». Anker says the word. Nobody else on this page does.
Its numbers agree with each other5 watts in the bullet and 5 watts in the table. 20 hours in the title and 20 hours in the table. A 45 mm driver and a «Speaker Size: 1.75», which is the same 45 mm in inches. After the JBLs, that is worth pointing out.
Twenty hours, and it floatsThe longest battery of the bike speakers here by eight hours, IP67, and it comes back up if it goes into a canal.
«Number of Batteries: 1 C batteries required. (included)»It is a sealed 2.4 Ah lithium pack. There is no C cell anywhere in it.
«Frequency Response: 20 KHz»A single number, top of range. Same field, same mistake, as almost every listing on this site.
«Speaker Size: 1.75»Inches, presumably. The field has no unit.
Two years of warrantyDouble the JBLs and the Bose. On the cheapest speaker on the page.
Latency is published200 ms. High, but published — which almost nothing here is.

What buyers say

A summary of the reviews published on Amazon.com as of 2026-09-09.

4.7 out of 5 4.7 13,259 ratings

4.7 out of 5 from 13,259 ratings, the highest here. Buyers repeat battery life and the price, and the shower comes up constantly. The complaints are about maximum volume outdoors and about the strap's clip, which is plastic.
