The review

Second best-selling portable speaker on Amazon. Above the JBL Charge 6, above the Flip 5, above both Gos. 38,722 ratings at 4.5, from a brand called BolaButty, for $24.99.

And it does the one thing this entire site exists to ask for. Its battery claim reads, in full: «up to 24 hours (50% Vol and light off)». That is the condition every manufacturer tests at and almost none prints. Bose does not print it. JBL does not print it. Anker, in the row above, publishes the same twenty-four hours and skips it. This listing then adds that «actual playtime can vary depending on volume level, audio content, and usage», which is also true and also unique on this page.

The rest of the table is the usual mess, but a mild one. The woofer diameter, the speaker size and the height of the whole unit are all «2.81 inches» — one measurement filling three fields. The channels are «2_0». It says «Waterproof» where the title correctly says IPX5, which is rain and not immersion. And it promises «lifetime technical support» in the bullets while the warranty field says twelve months; those are different things and only one is enforceable.

What you are buying is 20 W, a day of battery, an aux input, a microphone and a light show, for the price of two coffees and a bus ticket. What you are not buying is any assurance it will still work in three years.

The good

  • The only listing here that states its battery was measured at 50% volume
  • Second best-selling portable speaker on Amazon, above every JBL
  • $24.99, and 38,722 ratings at 4.5 behind it
  • 20 W across two drivers
  • Bluetooth 5.3 — the newest connection of this group
  • Aux input and a microphone for calls
  • Its two range figures are the same distance in two units

The not so good

  • IPX5 only: rain and splashes, not immersion
  • The table calls it «Waterproof», which IPX5 is not
  • One measurement fills the woofer, speaker-size and height fields
  • «Lifetime technical support» in the bullets, 12 months in the warranty field
  • An unknown brand with no service address on the page
  • No strap or loop, and 400 g in a bag

Other specs

The only listing on this site that states the volume its battery figure was measured atIn full: «up to 24 hours (50% Vol and light off)». That is the industry's standard test condition, and out of ten speakers here — including Bose, JBL and Anker — this twenty-five-dollar no-name is the only one that prints it. It also adds that «actual playtime can vary depending on volume level», which is true and nobody else says.
It outsells every JBL on AmazonSecond in the category. Above the Charge 6, the Flip 5, the Clip 5 and both Gos.
«Woofer Diameter: 2.81 inches»Which is also «Speaker Size: 2.81 inches», and also the height of the whole speaker. One number doing three jobs.
IPX5, not waterproofThe table says «Water Resistance Level: Waterproof». IPX5 is a jet of water — rain and splashes, not immersion. We publish IPX5.
«Number of Audio Channels: 2_0»Presumably 2.0. The underscore is in the listing.
«Number of Batteries: 1 C batteries required. (included)»A sealed pack, like every other speaker here that says this.
The two ranges agree«Bluetooth Range: 30.48 meters» and «Maximum Range: 100 feet» are the same distance in two units. After the JBL Clip 5's 10 m and 100 m, that is worth a mention.
«Lifetime technical support»Printed in the bullets. The warranty field says 12 months. Those are different promises and only one of them is a warranty.

What buyers say

A summary of the reviews published on Amazon.com as of 2026-09-09.

4.5 out of 5 4.5 38,722 ratings

4.5 out of 5 from 38,722 ratings. The praise is volume for the money and battery life; the lights come up often, positively and negatively. The complaints are the ones to expect: units dying after a year, and the charging port. Note that a listing this cheap with this many reviews is worth reading recent reviews on, not just the average.
