Six axes, the same rule for every speaker. This is our judgment, not the manufacturer's.

Amazon's number one in portable Bluetooth speakers, and it is not close: 156,455 ratings, more than every other speaker on this site added together. Thirty dollars, twenty-four hours, twelve watts across two drivers, IPX7, a 3.5 mm input, and it will charge your phone from its own battery.
The one clear error is in the battery row. Anker's bullet says 5,200 mAh. The table says «Battery Capacity: 24 amp_hours» — which is the twenty-four hours of playtime dropped into the capacity field, off by a factor of nearly five. The JBL Clip 5 has exactly the same mistake with exactly the same field.
What Anker does not tell you, and nobody else does either, is at what volume the twenty-four hours were measured. The industry measures at half volume with the lights off. The only listing on this whole site that admits it is the twenty-five-dollar no-name in the row below, which writes «up to 24 hours (50% Vol and light off)» in plain text. Anker, JBL and Bose all publish the number and skip the condition.
Two things to know before buying. IPX7 covers immersion but leaves dust unrated — the X is a missing digit, not a flourish. And there is no strap, no loop and no clip: this is a speaker you put in a bag and take out when you get there, which is exactly what this half of the site is for.
Anything marked «—» is a figure the manufacturer doesn't publish. We don't fill those in by eye.

| «Battery Capacity: 24 amp_hours» | Anker's own bullet says 5,200 mAh, which is 5.2 Ah. The table says 24 Ah — the twenty-four hours of playtime typed into the capacity field. The same mistake appears on the JBL Clip 5. |
|---|---|
| 156,455 ratings | More than every other speaker on this site put together, and the reason it is Amazon's number one in the category. |
| Two driver sizes, one table | «Audio Driver Size: 6 centimeters» and «Speaker Size: 4.6 centimeters». It has two drivers; neither field says which is which. |
| Twelve watts, and it looks real | Bullet and table agree, and 12 W is a plausible figure for two 6 cm drivers. On this page that makes it one of only three power figures worth reading. |
| IPX7, not IP67 | Immersion is covered; dust is not rated at all. The X is the missing dust digit, not decoration. |
| «Connectivity Technology: Auxiliary» | Two rows above «Connectivity Protocol: Bluetooth». It does both — there is a 3.5 mm input — but the fields read as if they disagree. |
| «Frequency Response: 70 hertz» | A single number, and the bottom of the range this time rather than the top. |
| It charges your phone | «Smartphone-Charging» is listed under features. A 5,200 mAh pack will refill about a phone and a half. |
| «Number of Batteries: 1 C batteries required» | Sealed lithium-ion. There is no C cell. |
A summary of the reviews published on Amazon.com as of 2026-09-09.
4.5 out of 5 from 156,455 ratings accumulated over years on sale. The praise is monotonous and useful: battery, price, and that it survives being knocked about. The complaints cluster on the micro-USB era units, on bass at high volume, and on units failing after two or three years — which at thirty dollars is the bargain being struck.
