This one is in the comparison to make a point that the ranking makes on its own. Of the fourteen best-selling on-ear headphones on Amazon, nine are children's school headphones. Positions 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12, 13 and 14. The category is not really an adult category any more; it is a school-supplies category with three adult models in it.
So here is the highest placed of them, at #4, for $13.99. And it does something none of the expensive models manage: it tells you how loud it can go. 85 dB, switchable to 94. The $359 Bose does not publish that figure. Neither does the $298 Sony. A field that matters for hearing exists on the listing of a toddler's headphone and nowhere else on this site.
