The OpenRun Pro 2 is the one product on this page that is not competing with the others. It leaves your ear canal open on purpose, so you hear the car behind you — and that means it can never win on sound or on cancelling, and it is not trying to.
What it does win on is the stuff nobody else here publishes: IP55, 30.3 g and two years of warranty, double everyone else. Shokz also publishes what it is doing technically — a bone conduction driver plus an air conduction one for the bass — which is more than Apple or Bose manage on this page.
The weak number is the twelve hours. Against 40 and 50 from the headband models that looks thin, though for the hour-long runs this is built for it is not the constraint it looks like.
