The V20i is what happens to a format once it stops being niche: the same open-ear idea as the Shokz above, at a seventh of the price, and with a spec sheet that is in some rows more complete — 16 mm titanium-coated drivers, Bluetooth 5.4, four mics, IP55.
The battery is advertised two ways. The title says 36 hours; the spec table says 8. Both are honest and they measure different things — 8 hours is what the earbuds do, 36 is what you get with the case in your pocket. We publish both, in the two rows they belong in, because a title that only says «36H» is telling you the number you will never experience in one sitting.
Against the Shokz: this clips on rather than wrapping round your head, it uses a case, and it has no bone conduction. At $27 with a published IP rating, that trade is easy to make.
