Six axes, the same rule for every model. This is our judgment, not the manufacturer's.

There is a reason the QuietComfort is still the name people say when they mean noise cancelling. Nothing else on this page comes close, and that is the whole argument for $359.
What is interesting is what Bose does not publish. There is no driver size on the listing, no codec list, no word on multipoint. A brand that charges nine times what the Soundcore charges tells you less about the hardware than the Soundcore does. We leave those boxes empty rather than fill them from a review.
The 24 hours is the weak number: the $40 Soundcore claims 40. In exchange you get a headphone that weighs 240 g, keeps working over a 3.5 mm cable when the battery dies, and cancels noise the way nothing else here does.
Anything marked «—» is a figure the manufacturer doesn't publish. We don't fill those in by eye.

| What the 24 hours refer to | The listing says Β«up to 24 hours of playtimeΒ» without saying whether that is with cancelling on. We record it as the figure with ANC because that is how Bose measures, and leave the without-ANC box empty. |
A summary of the reviews published on Amazon.com as of 2026-09-08.
4.5 out of 5 from 21,753 ratings. The praise is monotonous and specific: the cancelling and the comfort over long sessions. The complaints cluster on the price and on buyers who expected a bigger jump over the previous QuietComfort. Almost nobody complains about the battery, which is the number we would have expected to see criticised.
