The Q20i is the headphone that makes the rest of this page awkward. It is Amazon's number one in over-ear, it has 73,732 ratings at 4.5, and it costs $39.97 — a ninth of the Bose sitting next to it.
Its own listing can't agree on the battery. The bullet points promise 40 hours with noise cancelling on and 60 with it off. Scroll down to the spec table on the same page and it says «Battery Average Life: 20 hours». We publish the two numbers from the bullets because they are the specific ones, and we flag the third because you will see it.
What you are not buying at this price is the cancelling itself: hybrid with four mics is real, but it is not in the league of the Bose. What you are buying is 40 hours, a folding hinge, multipoint and an app that actually does something.
Anything marked «—» is a figure the manufacturer doesn't publish. We don't fill those in by eye.

| The battery, three different ways | The bullets promise 40 hours with ANC on and 60 with it off. The spec table on the same page says «Battery Average Life: 20 hours». Amazon shows both numbers, one under the other. |
|---|---|
| Water resistance | The table says «Water Resistant» and gives no IP rating. Without a rating that word means nothing, so we leave the field empty. |
| In the box | Headphones, USB-C cable and a detachable 3.5 mm cable |
| Charge time | 2 hours |
A summary of the reviews published on Amazon.com as of 2026-09-08.
4.5 out of 5 from 73,732 ratings. Buyers keep repeating the same two words, «battery» and «price», and the recurring complaint is the clamping force in the first days. Nobody claims the cancelling is Bose-grade, which is the honest bar for a $40 headphone.

$49.57 for a headphone listed at $179.99 — on a page that says it takes 50 hours to charge and weighs 99 grams.
57,702 ratings at 4.5 for $19.99 — and a spec table with the draft notes still in it.
Its frequency response field says 2.4 GHz. That is the Bluetooth band, on a $298 audiophile headphone.
